Brigidin Crowther

Brigidin is currently working on the curriculum design for a new development in education - the University Technical College. It opens in Sheffield in September this year. Here she outlines the concept and context and her hopes for its future.
Speaker bio
Brigidin has filmed all over the world from Tokyo to Silicon Valley, creating campaign stories on diabetes, the Human Genome project and the impact of technology in transforming lives. As Director of Developing Creativity she led a programme designing access routes into the creative industries for young people from challenging backgrounds; in 2012 she filmed refugee stories for the JET support project offering education and training to those escaping war and trauma. She has a Masters in International Cinema and is currently completing a novel for her MA in Writing.
She is passionate about films for advocacy, education and developing innovative opportunities for young people.
